# Tracking Individual Bills

As you browse the Codify Laws website, you'll notice a green track button that appears on the "**View Details**" page.

By clicking this button, users are able to save the item to their "**Alerts**", accessible from the navigation bar. Anytime there is an update to the status of the bill, an email update will be sent out.

Accessing the Alerts page will display a full list of all the Bills currently being tracked.

To remove an item from the Alerts list, simply click on the "**View Details"** button, then click **"Stop Tracking".**

Currently, users are able to track bills, which results in the user getting an email update whenever the bill moves from one stage to the next.

As a part of the V.3.0 update, the ability to track individual statutes has been removed, but our team is currently working on re-implementing the feature.
